Favourites

Hello everyone, I created this Tag for SSS Challenge Whats your  Favourite HERE I just love my Distress Inks, So of course I had to use them for this challenge also used  Hero Arts gems and stamp,  Spellbinders Snowflakes die, Sprinkled Acrylic Paint with a toothbrush. and a StampinUp stamp in the background. On the snow flake I  used Stickles. Sorry about the dark picture.

Hello Peeps, I'm in the middle of making cards for OWH  Valentine's HERE so thought I would enter this card. It fits right into the In A Row theme at LIM  HERE  I used a mixture of stamps on this one, StampinUp, Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp. Christmas Card

Hello peeps, It's been awhile since my last post. I had to take a little blog break. But I'm back. This is one of the  Christmas cards I will be sending out. I'm entering it in two challenges. Over at Simon Says Stamp HERE the challenge is Snowflakes and over at CASology HERE its Sparkle. I used my Cuddle Bug emboss folder, Hero Arts stamp, Spellbinder Die &Neehah CS. I embossed on Vellum then adhered to CS, I made the snowflake sparkle with Star Dust Stickles. Well that's all for now Have a Good Day.

Day 5 of Holiday Workshop is using Stamps and dies, I used my PapertreyInk stamp and die sets, Cutting the card size down abit so I could hang the banner over the edge of the card. My sentiment is from Hero Arts, CS from Neenah. A little glitter glue for the "berries".

Butterfly

I made this card for the Simon Says Stamp and Share challenge HERE.  Playing with my Distress Inks and alot of Perfect Pearls, I came up with this card. Using some Stampers Anonymous and Stampology stamps for the background then embossing the butterfly in black emboss. I also use Glossy Accents on my flourish I had stamped it Hero Arts black but it looked a little flat, the accents gave it a little more shine.  My pearls are from Kaiser.

Good Morning

 Made another card for Holiday Card Workshop last night. It is my very first window card, not to happy with it, maybe a with little practice. I guess. well here it is.



For the window I used clear CS from PTI, I made two doves one I embossed on the back side and glued one on each side of the clear CS
to cover up the glue. Hope that made sense. LOL. Have a great day!

Another Christmas card

Merry Christmas

I embossed some Vellum with my snow flake folder, I put lots of crackle paint on the snowflake, you can't see the crackle,  but I love the look it gave it.  Hope you like it.

Week 89 One Layer

In my front yard I have two butterfly bushes named Purple Rain the other day I saw a butterfly on one so I took a picture of it, which I used for inspiration for my card.

LIM Week 88

 Over at Less Is More  HERE  the challenge is to use a touch silver .  I have some embossed card fronts from last week when I was playing around with texture. So today I cut one into pieces with a  PTI die, and punched out a couple of doves with my Martha Steward punch. Embossed my sentiment with StampinUp silver emboss powder. My doves are StampininUp CS. Love the texture.

Special to me

When I started making cards for Operation Write Home It never crossed my mind I would one day be making a card to send to one of my grandkids , well here is my first card for my oldest grandson who is at boot camp. while my heart is heavy, I know he is doing what he wants to do. WHITE OUT
Over at A Blog Named Hero  HERE   the challenge is to start with White CS, no DP or colored CS. Here's my take.

I used my water color pencils to color some of the BG stamp and the flower, filled the dots with glitter glue.  Simple, but I like the way it turned out.

Whats on your desk? challenge

Hello everyone!  Friday over at KWerner's blog HERE she challenge us to make a card with what is on our desk. Well I had to go for it, as I had a big mess on mine. I  pretty much had everything on it!!




This is what I came up with. The string I used was dyed with Distress Ink. I never thought to dye it before. Matched perfectly. The panel I used was already made I just cut it, added a mat that I sponged  with peeled paint.

Challenge #10 the Krafty Crafter

Hello Peeps, This card is for the challenge over at ABNH   HERE   Using StampinUp Crumb Cake  (Kraft) and  Black CS, Bazzill CS Strip, Kaiser Pearls, Hero Arts Stamp for the leaves, Spellbinders nestabilities Scalloped circles made up my flower. Lots and Lots of Perfect Pearls with water were sprayed on the flower. I decided not to stamp a sentiment I'll just add this one to my blank card box.  Really love the way it all turned out.

 I used some of my Simon Says Stamp August Kit for this challenge over at  Freshly Made Sketch # 45  HERE.   CS, sentiment  are from  Jilibean Soup,  DP is Ginger Paper, My flower is from Hero Arts embossed in Black colored with Distress ink and sprayed with Perfect Pearls, I used the Meadow leaf die by Poppy Stamps. The Ribbon is form Ellen a thank you gift for an order, I don't know what brand it is. That's all for now. Thanks for stopping by.

With all my heart


Thought I would join the sketch challenge over at create with Connie and Mary  HERE   My heart is embossed with clear emboss I sponged it with Pacific Point Ink, CS Pacific Point, Whisper White, So Saffron, the little brad is not quite navy and did not match well so I put a pearl on top.Just sprinkled some pearls around. Emboss folder is Square Lattice. TheHeart is from I Love Hearts set, sentiment is Stampin Up but I don't know what stamp set,  years ago when I didn't know better I use to put the sentiments I liked into a basket  now I don't have any idea what set they go to, but the good thing is I know just where my favorite sayings are lol. Thank goodness I only did this to my StampinUp stamps. Hope you like it.
