This week over at Simon Says Stamp blog challenge is Transparent. So I decided to make a clear card, using Distress Inks and a die from Tim Holtz. For some sparkle I put Stickles on the flowers and leaves. I thought about splattering it with some white paint but was a afraid I would not like it. So here it is. Very simple!
So very difficult to take a good picture the reflections show up. Sorry!
Although class is over at on line card classes I'm catching up, I got a little behind on my card making so here is my card for day 7. I used Kristina's technique on creative coloring I love this technique!!
This card is for day 5 of on line card classes.Well I'm not to happy with this card I tried three times yes 3 times and I'm still not happy. I tried the iron off technique and lots and lots of copy paper later and 3 tries here it is. First card on the left I couldn't read the sentiment so I tried again this time I punched an oval out and stamped it sponged the edge's and placed it back in place but I didn't like the way it looked sooo I tried again this time I had to use a gel pen to cover up the cracks in the letters. This is not a technique I will try again any time soon.
Made this card for Day 3 of onlinecardclasses I used the masking technique, really liked the way it came out. I pulled out a classic background stamp from StampinUp also used Hero Arts stamps and ink. My sentiment is from PTI.
Have a great day and thank you for stopping by,
Today is the second day of onlinecardclasses. Our home work is to create a one layered card, using either faux metal, faux layered die cut or faux letterpress.I choose to use the layered die cut technique. I had so much fun with this. A whole a lot of little pieces! lol I used PTI dies and Card stock with Distress ink. Added stickles for a little sparkle. Love it.
Hello, well it's been awhile since I've posted, just not feeling very creative. I made this card for Virginia's View Challenge It's a new blog and I love it!!! The challenge is water coloring but they also have a few video's on water coloring sharing tips and ideas. I used a couple of ideas to make my card. This blog is like a mini class, great idea. Thank you Virginia for coming up with this. Love it!! I used StampinUp watercolor pencils. And Distress ink for my flower and leaves I wish I had placed my flower a little lower, but it is what it is. lol
